Postby Daryl » Sat Apr 08, 2017 12:27 pm

Hi all , I'm new and have a question on what blade to use for cutting the treads, does it have to be a3/32 kerf or will an1/8 work as well? thanks Daryl

Hi Daryl, Your query had me questioning my sanity. I had a look at my wheels and realised I used a 2.7mm kerfed blade on my wheels instead of the 3.2mm (real language speak for 1/8"). No one picked that up unless they were trying to be kind yo me.
If you think the kerf is too narrow add a few more and that will fill the gaps just as well as a new blade.
There are two ways of doing things,,, My way or the right way.

Hi Daryl and welcome. I also used a1/8 blade looks fine. Remember if you're happy with it that's all that's really matters. James
