Where is everyone from?

Postby minnie5843 » Tue Feb 18, 2014 8:30 pm

I thought it might be interesting to know where everyone who "chats" back and forth on this site is from. Sometimes we go for extended drives and it would be cool to know if we were close to other people that likes to do wood working, stop and check out other shops and swap stories and tips. We're from Sedro-Woolley, Washington, about 60 miles north of Seattle just off I-5. Mike Ingham, Wife Janet

Union SC has been home for many years. It's about 60 miles below Charlotte, NC, 60 miles from Columbia SC also. Small town of about 12000 or so; county pop of around 28,000.

Or since this is a woodworking hobby site; I'm about 30 miles from the nearest Lowes, Harbor Freight, and Home Depot.

Hi my name is Troy Odgers. I live on Watseka, Illinois which is 1.5 hours south of
Chicago. Live in a town of about 5000 people. My shop is in a 1 car garage.
My wife Ashley tolerates the sawdust but hates that she can't put her car in it.

Hi Guys,
for this moment I'm the one most far away. I'm from the Netherlands, the other side of the pond. Some 8000 kilometers, yes that's how we measure distance over here, away. So if you like to visit my shop, it will take you a couple of hours by plane. However, looking forward to meet you,
Best regards Martin
